Bernard Brody is an accomplished Atlanta Georgia lawyer with a successful track record of resolving difficult criminal and civil cases. Bernard was recently recognized as a "Rising Star" in the Georgia Super Lawyers' publication for his successful representation of clients charged with serious felony crimes. Bernard is an active and contributing member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Bernard was lead counsel in the following published appellate decisions: Spence v. State, 642 S.E.2d 856 (2007); Puplampu v. State, 570 S.E.2d 83 (2002); Brayboy v. State, 555 S.E.2d 25 (2001); Smith v. State, 552 S.E.2d 499 (2001); and Dept. of Public Safety v. Schueman, 532 S.E.2d 487 (2000).

Bernard graduated with honors from the University of Hofstra School of Law, where he was the only student in his class to be selected to both the Law Review and the school's moot court team. Bernard served as an associate editor of Hofstra's Law Review, and was a finalist in the New York moot court competition.

Bernard is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Bernard has appeared and successfully argued cases before the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Bernard's federal criminal defense practice extends beyond Georgia to several other Southeastern states where he has helped our clients successfully resolve complex federal prosecutions.
